My alarm goes off around 7:30. I usually snooze until about 8 or a little before. I get up, take a shower and dress then go upstairs to have breakfast. I dont quite have a set schedule yet so I generally try to come upstairs when I hear that people are already there. After breakfast I play with the kids for a while. Recently we have been going to the playground nearby because it's been good weather. I think it is sort of cold here, like in the 50s but I guess it's not really all that bad. It's sort of refreshing after the 90 degrees we had been having when I left. After the playground it's lunch time and after lunch it's more playing or going out somewhere. Sometimes we go to visit someone or we go into town or run errands. Today, however, is a bit different because both girls are sick. We were supposed to go to Frankfurt today but the girls last night complained of stomach aches and now might have fevers. Apparently there is a virus going around. I hope I don't get it.
Then after the afternoon activity, I generally have free time so I will try to read or go down to my room and watch TV or sometimes I still play with the kids. Then comes dinner and then more free time and then bed. Pretty soon though everything will be different because the fall break will be over and the girls will be back in school and I will start my German class which is 4 HOURS OF LEARNING. Not only am I not ready to be back in school, I also dont want to start class at 8:15am. And sitting in a classroom for 4 hours? No thank you. But unfortunately that was the only course available. Its the intensive course and only lasts a month. 4 weeks, no problem right?
Tonight I am going to a party with Simon, the Noll's nephew. I think he is 19 years old and I just hope that I can keep up with those young ones (here at 19, you are still in high school). I'm excited to spend some time with people that are closer to my age but I'm really nervous to spend hours with these people that I don't know, mostly because of the whole language thing. But we'll see how it goes.
I'm really looking forward to this Saturday. Xaver and I are meeting up in Frankfurt to go to the natural science museum and they have dinosaur skeletons! I don't think Ive ever seen dinosaur skeletons before so I am really quite excited. It's supposed to rain though. So that means I'll either be miserable the whole day or catch another cold... which would make me miserable for 3 days. But as long as I get to see the Dinosaurs, I'll be happy.
Finally reading your blog!! haha It's been pretty chilly here as well. So I suppose we're experience the change in season together. I'm sure the class will be find. You'll probably get breaks and stuff. Sounds like Summer School... though I never took it haha You'll have to tell me all about this party!
