Let's see if I can get this on the first try.

I thought it would be a cool idea to try to document my voyage to school. After thinking about the logistics, I realized that it was probably a bad idea. But, I decided to do it anyway.

The first three are kind of out of order. The first one is Mercadona, where I do my grocery shopping; the little that I have to do. The second is the building I live in! live on the 6th floor and apparently my place is pretty neat. So, after I leave my house, and cross the street I pass this huuge picture of Rafael Nadal!

What if I met him while I was in Spain? That would be awesome. For those of you who don't follow tennis, he's an attractive AND really talented tennis player from Mallorca. Yesterday he beat Roger Federer (also Really good player). Nadal also beat Federer in Wimbeldon earlier this summer! Anyway, I digress.
I continue to walk down that street quite a ways and pass lots of people and bulidings and then I reach Gran Via Marques del Turia. which is basically like Broad St. I turn onto that street and pass lots of cool things like Hollywood American restaurant, A Mercedes car dealership and an Open Cor (right next to Mercedes) which is only the best store ever. Basically it's like a wawa (without the coffee) and its open until 2am. I went in there the other night and EVERYONE was buying liquor and fanta .. so you know what they were going to do. You can also get baked goods there. They are delicious. Please tell me why there is a KFC? Anyway. The next picture is kind of a street view of Gran via. You can walk down the middle which is what I was doing. It's a really wide street. I know I'm at the end of Gran via when I see the statue! When I took that picture, there were lots of people around so I felt kind of foolish. Continuing, I then have to cross the Puente Aragón or the Aragon bridge, which puts me onto Calle Aragon (Aragon Street). The bridge crosses over el río which used to be a river but now its a park! I keep on going and then pass the stadium where Valencia CF plays! Yay! And finally I'm on Blasco Ibañez, the street that my school is off of. You can see all of the stores and such. Then finally success, I'm at school!

  1. There was KFC in Costa Rica when we went to the beach... except you had the option to get rice and beans as a side. All I ate was a few biscuits, though, because I was INSANELY hung over and couldn't stand the thought of eating.

Anyways, I JUST noticed that that sign says "University of Virginia" ... why don't they put it in Spanish?

Also, the building you live in is pretty.

    :)

Maybe we can live somewhere like that during law school? With a cute little balcony. Here's to hoping. Haha.

Thanks for the update. Have a good day at schooool. I'll probably end up talking to you during my history class, though. Yay!
