¿Como se dice leprechaun en castellano?

I tried to explain to my "madre" what St. Patrick's day was about and how you had to wear green. She still doesn't get it. But instead laughed at me. The same way she did when I put hot sauce in my lentejas.

Today, Melissa and I went towards the center of the city to see all the falleras do the ofrenda. That's when they carry bouquets of roses to the Plaza de la Virgin and there is a huge wooden frame of Mary and slowly but surely the flowers are goin to fill in the statue making a huge floral virgin mary! I think by tomorrow it should be completed. I'll try to post pictures.

Tonight we are all meeting up at one of the many Irish pubs in Valencia to celebrate Santo Patricio! ;-) haha. I feel like no is going to get the double meaning of that. I can't wait to see how this goes down. Though I'm sure no one is into St. Paddy's day as much as us Americans are.

  1. Meh, we Americans are impostors. Not to mention, you went out last night and I didn't. So, how does that fit into your theory? Haha.
